It’s not to late to take action and make a change! TAKING A STAND against alcohol, drugs and tobacco can and should be a year-round effort. FIND OUT what you can do to make change, below!

Be a Youth Advocate and Volunteer!

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign, and lots of schools are doing events and activities! There’s still time to make change — you can get ideas from this downloadable planning guide– AND you can enter the official photo contest to win cash and prizes for your school!

And your efforts don’t need to just happen during this week — we are always looking for youth advocates and volunteers to make awareness and prevention projects — including videos, writing, policy advocacy and more!

We also have an upcoming Reality Party for Parents and are looking for volunteers ages 15-25 who are interested in acting. Our Reality Parties are an important outreach effort to parents, who need to WAKE UP to the current party culture that’s going on.

Are you a high school student in Ventura? We are looking for you to be on our Youth Prevention Task Force! They are hard at work creating projects and events around tobacco prevention. Contact us for more information!
