Please make your voice heard and offer support to preventing alcohol-related problems in Ventura!

The Circle K convenience store located at Mills and Main in Ventura, has been caught, in three different sting operations, selling alcohol to minors. Not only that, but their policy of selling single-serve beer/malt beverages and hard alcohol contributes to the crime and vagrancy in that area.

There is a large community of residents, shoppers, young students in the immediate area. This is an issue that affects them directly.

If you are a parent, young person, or concerned community member, committed to making Ventura a better place, please come to this meeting!

The Ventura City Council is meeting on Monday, March 14, at 6pm at City Hall to consider revoking Circle K’s alcohol license.

Monday, March 14, 6pm
Ventura City Hall – City Council Chambers
501 Poli Street, Ventura

Here are suggestions on how to be supported and get your voice heard!

  • Before Monday, write a letter to the editor to a local publication expressing your concerns.
  • Contact Ventura City Councilmembers before Monday at 805-654-7827or by sending an email to council@cityofventura.net
  • Attend the Council meeting. We’d like Ventura County’s councilmembers, police force and politicians know that we are concerned. There will be comment cards available. You can also opt to speak in front of the Council by filling out a speaker card.

We need to make our voices heard!
