Everyone is faced with the decision of drinking alcohol or not, at one point in life. Although it may be fun at the moment, eventually it can get out of hand and will affect you and those around you. On top of that, you life may be at risk.

I went drinking with a group of friends after high school one day. At the time, I didn’t care about what I was doing and continued to take shots and have fun. Everything seemed to be going great with us all until I drank to the point to where I passed out.

I woke in the hospital to find worried, disappointed looks on my parents’ faces. They told me that I had alcohol poisoning.

First hand, I learned that drinking alcohol can lead to serious consequences that don’t help life at all.
