Take a look at this very informative and innovative site for teens…

CheckYourself.com is a unique resource for older teens to think in a focused way about their relationship with drugs and alcohol.  This site includes:

  • Quizzes about alcohol, marijuana and other drugs and a simple way to email the quizzes to your friends.
  • Videos and first-person stories
  • Interactive video stories where you can choose a path and discover where it leads.
  • Factual answers to questions teens have about substance abuse
  • Information about getting help, treatment resources and hotline numbers
  • Stickers that can be downloaded and printed and banners for teens to use on blogs and other personal sites

Support for CheckYourself.com is provided by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. The Partnership gives the factual information about drugs and alcohol and monitors postings to make sure they comply with the terms of use, but CheckYoursef.com is designed to be a unique, evolving and independent resource where teens can communicate with and learn from each other.
