90 percent of teens admit a stronger likelihood of drinking and driving on prom night
Over the past few years I have been privileged to work with the team at SADD National (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and many SADD Chapters in Southern California. SADD and Liberty Mutual have just released important information from their research on teen drinking and teen driving.
This newest study shows that 90 percent of teens admit a stronger likelihood of drinking and driving on prom night, yet less than one-third see the associated dangers. It also addresses the fact that family safe driving agreements can play a significant role in deterring teens’ dangerous or distracted driving habits.
I hope you will take the time to look over their chart and prom season news release. Please talk with your family and friends about this. Keeping the discussion going is an important part of creating social change.
